Lovefraud Education & Recovery

How can we save the world from sociopaths? Let’s start by educating young people — before they get snagged.

Lovefraud has heard from many readers — perhaps like you — who were blindsided by sociopaths. They had no idea humans who seemed so normal were capable of such cruel and exploitative behavior. Many, many of these victims have asked, “Why don’t they teach this in high school?”

Yes, why don’t they?

One reason is the general societal oblivion about sociopaths. Most people don’t know sociopaths exist. Those who have at least heard of sociopaths tend to believe they are all deranged serial killers.

The truth, of course, is that most sociopaths never kill anyone. Instead, they are friendly, charming and magnetic. They soften us up with praise or love bombing — until we’re hooked. Then they begin their ruthless campaign of devastation.

Some educators — often after painful personal experience — now recognize the importance of teaching young people to watch out for disordered personalities. But schools don’t have the expertise, and can’t afford to develop it.

That’s where Lovefraud Education and Recovery, a New Jersey Nonprofit Corporation, wants to make a difference.

We will develop cost-effective education packages. We will teach students to spot and escape exploitative relationships before the predators ruin their lives.

You can help.

Please give to the Lovefraud Education & Recovery Nonprofit. We’re a 501 ( c ) (3) public charity, so your donation is tax-deductible (in the U.S.).
