Sean Patrick Banks, a former Naval officer from Del Mar, California, was sentenced to 37 years to life for raping two women who he met on dating sites.

One woman met Banks on Christian Mingle, according to U-T San Diego. The other met him on Match.com.

According to UTSanDiego.com:

El Cajon Superior Court Judge Daniel Goldstein said he found KK and a second victim, identified only as RO, believable and consistent in their statements.

But Goldstein said Banks’ statements to investigators showed him as an angry man whose “hatred for women is appalling.”

Prosecutor David Williams III called Banks a sexual predator who has shown no remorse for his attacks.

I saw the news clip on national news. The judge who sentenced him kept it together very well even though you could tell he was disgusted with him. Story and clip is on KGTV 10 news. I couldn’t believe he actually challenged the victim to a lie detector test. Holy !$#$.
