FAMILY COURT FIASCOS: Two months before committing brutal murder, Komisarjevsky won custody of his daugher

Joshua Komisarjevsky, convicted murderer.

Joshua Komisarjevsky, convicted Connecticut murderer.

Lovefraud reader Anne Stevenson just wrote an article about Joshua Komisarjevsky, convicted in the horrific slayings of Jennifer Hawke-Petit and her two daughters in 2007.

Komisarjevsky and his accomplice, Steven Hayes, raped and strangled the mother, raped the daughters, then burned the house down with the daughters still alive and tied to their beds. Both men were sentenced to death in 2012.

But two months before the crime, Connecticut Family Court awarded Komisarjevsky custody of his 5-year-old daughter, even though he walked into the hearing wearing a GPS monitoring bracelet. The Connecticut Department of Corrections provided him with legal support for the family court case.

The cops from that town were horrific. They formed a semi-circle in front of the house for how long? I forget but they were totally useless.

Why didn’t they call a ‘hot squad’?…highly trained men/women who would have climbed the sides of the house without even being detected by these two men.

Nice to know we can depend on the police force for our protection.
