Women file suit against “revenge porn” website

Dozens of Women Join ‘Revenge Porn’ Class Action Lawsuit Against Texxxan.com. Although Texxxan.com is not currently live, these women are seeking revenge on a sliver of x-rated cyberspace known as “revenge porn,” where people post explicit photos of their exes out of spite.

Another revenge porn website called IsAnyoneUp.com was launched by Hunter Moore, 26, as a place for “public humiliation.” On the site, users could upload sexually explicit photos and videos without a victim’s permission, and include screen grabs of Facebook accounts and links to Twitter accounts. A section on the website also allowed people to comment on the photos and videos. In an interview with Neil Karlinsky on ABC NIGHTLINE, Moore referred to himself as a “professional life-ruiner.” Moore has since sold his site to the owner of Bullyville.com, who also owns CheaterVille.com.
