Seemona Sumasar, a bakery owner and former Morgan Stanley analyst, filed charges that she was raped by her ex-boyfriend, Jerry Ramrattan. In retaliation, Ramrattan allegedly framed Sumasar with three crimes. Prosecutors believed the crimes, refused to check her alibi, and Sumasar sat in jail for seven months.
